Eight Off Solitaire

Objective

Move all cards to the four foundation piles, building each up from Ace to King by suit. All cards are dealt face-up, so every game is a puzzle of planning ahead.

The Layout

• Free Cells — 4 temporary holding spots (8 in Eight Off)
• Foundations — build up by suit, Ace through King
• Tableau — 8 columns of face-up cards

Moving Cards

• Build down in alternating colors on the tableau (same suit in Baker's Game)
• Move one card at a time to free cells or between piles
• Multiple cards can move at once if enough free cells and empty columns are available (supermove)
• Any card can be placed on an empty tableau column

Tips & Strategy

• Keep free cells open — they are your lifeline
• Try to empty entire columns to increase your supermove capacity
• Plan several moves ahead before committing
• Aces and twos should go to foundations as soon as possible
